Stand des PVC-Recycling in Deutschland
PVC-Recycling ist seit der Gründung 1988 eines der Topp Themen der Arbeitsgemeinschaft PVC und UMWELT. Im Einzelnen gehören dazu, die Information aller wichtigen Entscheider in Wirtschaft, Politik, Behörden, Medien, Wissenschaft, usw. sowie die Unterstützung bei der Entwicklung von Recyclingsystemen.

Relevant information about MW composition and proper forecasting of MW composition is crucial for relevant technical and economical modelling and business planning in the field of waste management. These include techno-economical models of MW treatment units, e.g. sorting line, transfer station, energy recovery, waste collection and transport or a regional waste collection and treatment system modelling (Kropáč et al. 2018) and complex business models concerning specific investments in waste management. In this context, there is a project under the Ministry of Environment of the Czech Republic.

The waste disposal system in Poland is one of the least advanced in Europe. Despite great efforts over the last 20 years municipal waste landfilling has only reduced from 95 percent in 1991 to 73 percent in 2010. This still means that millions of tonnes of post-consumer waste continue to be landfilled.
Consumption and recycling of plastic packaging materials. A research for the current situation in Thessaloniki

Initially, different plastic packaging materials from super-market consumer products were recorded and classified according to the particular polymer type from which they are made of. Following, a questionnaire was formed and data were collected from a number of citizens in Thessaloniki during the time period 2007 to 2008. It was found that the plastic packaging with the highest consumption in a number or weight basis is general purpose bags followed by water and soft drinks bottles.
